This Diet is the Best Diet

Your friend Sally (I made up this name I don't really know your friend) is getting crazy results on her diet. You tried it and all you got was a rash.

Your friend Adam is doing something super crazy, you signed up. You almost died and got zero results.

So you go looking for the next thing. I am here to tell you what it is and guarantee it's not what you're thinking.

Firstly, all these diets you see your friends getting fantastic results with work....for them. This is the key part here. We are all different. Have different bodies, different dietary needs, different lifestyles, different goals etc... So while all these diets work, they may not work for you. The trick is finding the one that does.

Some things to consider:

  • Are there certain foods that cause you problems?
  • Are there certain types of food you can't give up?
  • Are there certain foods you need to avoid?
  • Do you see yourself maintaining these kinds of changes long term?
  • Diets are temporary, lasting results require lifestyle changes.
  • How will your changes affect those around you if you make meals for other people
  • Are you willing to learn and put in the work and give this a real shot
Once you have a general idea of what you are looking for get to researching. If you have absolutely no idea where to start send me an email, I offer a FREE 30 minute call to help you come up with some ideas on where to start and give you tips to help you get started right away.

Secondly, don't give up when after one week the scale has barely moved, or even went in the wrong direction. It takes four to six weeks to know if something is working and every time you stop, give up and move on to the next thing you saw online you are putting off your progress. Stick to it and you will stop going in circles.

So the next thing you are going to try? Something that fits your needs and CONSISTENCY!

Got it?

Still confused?

How Did You Celebrate the Holiday?

Yesterday was Labor Day for those of us in the United States this holiday celebrates the social and economic achievements of American workers.  If you celebrated yesterday and you are feeling a little rough today here are three tips to help ease you into your Tuesday and get you feeling a bit better. 1. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces. If you indulged in adult beverages or ate some foods that are higher in sodium today than you are used to you may be feeling a little rough. Added electorylates could also help you feel a tad better, along with some green tea or black coffee for a boost of caffeinated energy without the sugar crash later.  2. Add some protein to each meal or snack (it will help keep your sugar levels stable) and add in some fruits and veggies for their antioxidant punch.  3. Don't beat yourself up for indulging. Life is about balance and one bad day, snack or meal won't wreck your progress. Get back on track today and ...
